The next step is to set the sides and place the back of the guitar in a form or mould in order to avoid deformations. |
The sides and back must be made of fine hardwoods or veneer. Once the special glue has dried, the edges or purfling is inserted. The fretboard is placed on the guitar once the neck and tail block have been formed.
The fretboard is then carved and sanded until it has the definitive bridge height over the top. |
